Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India.At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Bear's Cave, Yercaud is situated in 15 kms from yercaud lake  Bear's cave is situated in a private coffee estate near the Norton Bungalow, which is on the way to the Servaroyan temple. 

Bear’s Cave, The cave is believed to be created by the bears and house of bears the cave is seen to be about 7 feet below the ground level the cave also served as a secret hideout and escape route to the mighty ruler Tipu Sultan during wartime.

Even though the fallen rocks and boulders offers blockage to the cave exploration,If the rocks remove the exploration continue Around 60 ft of the cave can be explored without any obstacle.
