Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India.At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Gent's Seat Yercaud is located At a distance of 2.5 km from Yercaud Bus Stand & 500m from Lady's Seat, Gent's Seat is a wonderful viewpoint in Yercaud town close to Lady's Seat. The Gent's Seat is one of the prime attractions of Yercaud visited along with Lady' Seat. 

Gent's Seat  viewpoint offers panoramic views of Salem town and Ghat Road. It is a nice place to watch the sunset.you have to ascend 55 steps to reach the place,nice windy with clouds hitting on us as mist. 

There is botanical garden before going on top. Surrounded by lush green trees and Decorated garden.Gent's seat is a part of the Yercaud Botanical Gardens and the name can only be explained by its proximity to the Lady's Seat. 

There is a small watch tower near the point offering breathtaking view of the plains below. The view from Gent's Seat is more spectacular at night with thousands of light twinkling in Salem town. 

Entry fee totally together for gents seat, children seat and garden is there.It is a very pleasant place for visitors and nature lovers.
