Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India.At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Deer Park or Eco Tourism Park is located at the distance of 2km from yercaud lake.Deer Park, an exclusive park for deers everyone can visit the park with their family & children by spending some time to see the Deers with horns in a silent atmosphere. 

There are few more animals like peacocks, guinea pigs, pigeons, rabbits, ducks that exist here gives a visual treat for you. Some of these animals have been caged and are displayed to the public. 

Animal lovers can have a chance to see them very close.The park has lush green playgrounds wherein the visitors can enjoy pleasant views of the valley and can get engulfed within the beauty of the nature. 

Deer Park closes at 5 pm, but other nearby places can be visited after visiting the park.
