Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India.At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Norton’s Bungalow Yercaud is located at the distance of 6kms from yercaud lake ,Norton’s Bungalow, is the summer retreat to British officers in the past and one of those officers, Norton, a powerful Criminal Lawyer in Chennai, built this beautiful European Bungalow in Yercaud, 

The most important attraction at the place is an ancient cave called the Bear’s Cave is situated next to the bungalow that is visited by several tourists. Both the bungalow and the cave, can only be visited after acquiring proper prior permissions. 

Norton's Bungalow's fame comes from its relevance in several Bollywood movies. It is recognised as one of the oldest bungalows that has managed to inspire several Bollywood films which have hilly roads surrounded by trees that lead up to an old house. 

The bungalow is a private residence to which no one is permitted entry without prior authorization. Therefore, it would be advisable to ensure you have obtained the necessary approval before visiting this ancient home.
