Kodai-Palani Trek, Kodaikanal Overview : Kodaikanal is Known as the Princess of Hill Stations in Palani hill range in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, South India.Kodaikanal is famous for its variety of flora and its Kurinji flowers which bloom once in 12 years in the month of December. 

There are nearly 17 famous trails in the hills of Kodaikanal, the Kodai-Palani being one of them.Kodaikanal Palani Hills takes the pride of being the one of the most beautiful mountain rages in South India,then get ready to start your trekking experience towards the hill.

The vegetation changes gradually from palm-fringed paddy fields to wild grass surrounded by silver oaks. The view of the Amaravathi Dam, a shimmering sapphire sheet of water is an unforgettable sight. One can hear the sounds of nature, echoing for miles and miles. 

In the dark, humid forest floor the wildlife here, normally hidden, presents itself as you will be able to spot bisons and elephants from the reasonable distance,The trek continues through the small streams and dense forest where morning sunshine glitters throughout the jungle canopy. 

On reaching the waterfall, we will regroup and spend some  time in the water, followed by a riverside walk to the campsite.The water was clear and drinkable.The peak is really beautiful take snaps the mist came from nowhere .
