Suicide Point Kodaikanal :

Kodaikanal is a hill town in  Dindigul District in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. 

Suicide Point of Kodaikanal at a distance of 5.5 km from Kodai Lake It has an incredible view  of hills,  below 5000 feet from the Kodaikanal 

It’s been a horrible view from the top of Suicide point , People always have a negative feel when they visit the suicide point which is exclusively for committing suicides! 

A number of people have died at the suicide point both willingly or by accident. Many of the local people say that there is a strong negative force which pulls the makes people commit suicide. 

For our safety the place has been iron bar fenced now. The mist will steal the mesmerizing early morning and evening landscapes,

Surprisingly, you can see the Vaigai Dam view if you’re lucky enough and the beautiful mists or fogs but also for the presence of many monkeys. 

Once the fog is cleared one can see the most mesmerising view of the hill station below, The ideal time to visit the valley would be between 10 am and 3 pm.  clouds didn’t ruin your landscape. It is 5KM away from Kodai Lake and Bryant Park. 

we should be very careful while carrying things to the valley as they can be easily snatched  by the monkeys present in the area.

The best time to visit the Valley View is between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM as the valley gets covered by mist as the day advances making it difficult to have a clear view.

 How To Reach Suicide Point  (Green Valley View)

Madurai is its nearest airport and for railways, Coimbatore Jn is the closest.

After arriving at the Kodaikanal bus stand, you can easily take a taxi, bus or autorickshaw to the valley. It’s only 5.5 km far away from the bus stand. 

Correspondingly, you can also directly head to the green valley if you’ve already been exploring other nearby areas like Bryant Park or Kodai Lake.
