Yelagiri formally Known as Vellore Yelagiri (also spelled Elagiri at times) is a hill station in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, India, situated off the Vaniyambadi-Tirupattur road. Located at an altitude of 1,110.6 metres above Mean Sea Level and spread across 30 km, the Yelagiri village .

Nature park, Yelagiri located At a distance of 1 km from Punganoor Lake and 750 m from Athanavur Bus Stop a famous  hill station in Yelagiri in Tamil Nadu is spread over an area of 12 acres. The park is situated near to the Punganoor Lake.

 

Nature park Yelagiri was established in 2008 the Nature Park is officially also known as the Government Herbal Farm within the area is well built and maintained for children to play and enjoy themselves.

 

The park also has an artificial waterfall. There is bathing facility available in this cascade. The nature park is very well maintained and it is studded with plenty of varieties of trees, well laid out walk ways, beautifully lighted fountain and so on.

 

The nature park contains an aquarium, a seasonal garden, a bamboo house, a poly house to name a few attractions. It is a perfect place for both kids and elders.The musical fountain has the water dancing to popular songs.The fish aquarium has a large variety of fish and tortoises. 

 

It also consists of a musical fountain right at the centre of the park and is well lighted. The park also consists of a telescope view point that is easily accessible to all.The park is the best destination for all ages of people and provide a feeling of relaxation and stunning environment.

Yelagiri Nature Park Time Required : 1-2 hours 

Yelagiri Nature Park Entry Fee : INR 15 for adults INR 5 for children. 

Yelagiri Nature Park Musical Fountain : Rs 25/- for musical fountain. The show is commenced on every day on 7pm .The musical fountain only performs if at least 25 people attend the concert.
