in valparai its a end route of thalanar estate, from the thalanar view point
here we can see the sholayar dam. Thalanar water fall is a small water fall .

property of kavarkal estate , Thalanar is not easily accessible by road,because
there is a small checkpost in route to this waterfalls. we need to show the
proof to cross checkpost.

...with Elephant crossing also dark misty zones Road condition is not good .
But can be used for
travelling in low speed. Wild animals sight chance is more in this ares since
traffic very very less and its surrounded by forest and coffee estates. One can
go here by taking a 25KM drive from Valparai town towards Aliyar route.
