Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India.At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Cauvery Peak, Yercaud is one of the highest peaks at the heighr of 4600ft in the Yercaud Hills.Cauvery Peak is specialy famous for coffee. For the first time in India a coffeee planter started here MSP Rajes whose father started and trading with the European planters under the names MSP Plantations and MSP Coffee. 

His descendants continue to manage the plantations which produces nursery seed to roasted beans and everything in the 150 year old estate.you will see the Nursery, lake, Cauvery Peak, wet processing plant, dry processing plant, roasting, grinding and packing unit, coffee museum and information center.If you are lucky: Birds, Animals, The Cauvery River, and Mettur dam on the horizon
