Yercaud is a hill station in Salem, district of Tamil Nadu, South India. At a height of 4,970 feet on the Shevaroy Hills of the Eastern Ghats. Also called the “Jewel of the South”,Yercaud is Popular called as the “Poor man’s Ooty”. 

Yercaud Loop Road – 32km is actually a 32 kilometer stretch road which begins from the Yercaud Lake and End it on yercaud Lake. 

Yercaud lake path this road is a stretch of 32 KM.This road was traced back in the early 1800s and passed through villages. you start your ride from the Yercaud Lake, take the Nagalur - Yercaud Road that takes you through Nagalur, Semmanatham, Cauvery Peak, Manjakuttai, Mailapatti  and Yercaud Lake . So you finish your ride at the starting point. 

While traveling through these villages,Most of the road is covered with the Silver Oak trees and plantation on both sides aromatic tea plantations.Yercaud has been known for its coffee plantations and thick bamboo forests. 

The hill station has retained its heritage for more than a hundred years.While traveling through these villages, one can taste the different varieties of coffee; the inviting aroma of the coffee beans will surely fill your senses. 

The Loop Road will fill your heart with mesmerizing views of the local people, their foods, languages and their way of living. There are several natural scenery and viewpoints available throughout the stretch. 

The Mahameru temple and the Karadiyur view point fall on this path. Tourists going for a morning drive may travel via Manjakottai for a pleasant sunrise view. 

A beautiful loop of road with 20 hairpin bends so while exciting, it is best appreciated driving slowly and don't let the sights distract you too much as you go. We recommend you to take this loop road drive in the early morning as it is less crowded and more scenic.  

Above all bike riders enjoy the 32km trip because they experience the thrill of the open road.
