Christ The King Church, Kodaikanal Overview : 

CSI Church is situated In Kodaikanal hill town Palani hill range in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, South India.Christ the King Church has a history of over a hundred years. It is a very sacred shrine that is located near the Coakers Walk in Kodaikanal. 

Christ the King Church WAS Built by an American Madurai Mission in 1895, this church was known as the Union Church in the past and has an evident influence of colonial architecture. 

Christ the King Church has been built with stone presenting a simplistic architectural style although one can see influence of Colonial style of architecture and Gothic Architecture. 

The church is made up of granite, and Painted glass windows add an artistic touch to the interiors of the church.there is a series of stained glass embellishing the windows, and wooden chairs are placed right in front of the altar. 

The main altar has an image of  Lord Jesus  depicted on it.Moreover, the painted  grandeur touch the interior of this protestant church in Kodaikanal.Deeply Admired by its followers, and it does not matter what religion you follow, the church welcomes every person who visits here.
