Yelagiri formally Known as Vellore Yelagiri (also spelled Elagiri at times) is a hill station in Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, India, situated off the Vaniyambadi-Tirupattur road. Located at an altitude of 1,110.6 metres above Mean Sea Level and spread across 30 km, the Yelagiri village . 

Yelagiri Perumal Temple is an ancient temple existed here centuries ago, and an ancient deity of Adi Kesava Perumal along with some lamps were excavated here while constructing the current temple.

The temple is actually carved between rocks in the hill that offer some amusing and impressive landscapes to travelers. This temple is always clean and is home to the local artistry paved throughout the gateway.
