The view is amazing from the top. On the way, you can stop by and enjoy the view. The place is awesome.There was a viewpoint earlier which was now fenced and the tourists were not allowed.
Still we can just stop and enjoy the view from there. The guards will not allow us to stop for more than 5 to 10 mins.View from the hill curve seems like a small island.
On the left, the misty mountains. straight you have a great view of the reservoir and then you the entire area after that.If you are lucky you will get to see the Nilgiri Tahr on the steep rocks.
Best place to view the plains and the aliyar dam. Be careful with the monkeys. You can also see monkeys having so much fun jumping around the entire place!
The sunset with clouds moving over the dam is extravagant. Try a time lapse..The view is great! Best time to visit is early morning. You can enjoy the scenery while travelling on the hills.
