Lamb's Rock is a View Point, located in Dolphin Nose View Point road near Coonoor  is a spectacular vantage point situated at Burliar village near Coonoor,

 

The place got its name after Captain Lamb who attempted to open a path to this place,

 

the Lamb's Rock offers some fascinating views of the surrounding valleys, landscape Lamb’s Rock is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature and is filled with tranquil. 

 

One can reach the top of Lamb's Rock  There are a few views which are beyond compare, On the right hand yawns to great Hulical ravine and from its base some 5000 feet below, ascends the roar of the Coonoor stream.

 

The  Lamb’s Rock is a sheer precipice of  several  hundred  meters  and  commands  a  good  view  of  the Coimbatore  plains.

 

 

Lamb's Rock is a place where you can enjoy the cool breeze amid lush greenery and tranquillity,It is a romantic gem for couples and a famous picnic spot for families with children.

 

Lamb s Rock is located at about 7 Kms from Coonoor,  Bus Stand, 7 Kms from Coonoor Railway Station, 25 Kms from Ooty Bus Stand, 27 Kms from Ooty, 26 Kms from Ooty Railway Station 

 

It is also situated near to the Lady Canning's Seat, from there you can reach easily to this spot.
